any info on converting a 1986 mustang svo front end bumper cover lights etc. to an lx model or gt style. The front hood center on the svo hanges down a little more over the grill than an lx or gt I would like to keep the same hood I could fabricate an cut the center shorter to make fit the lx bumper that's what I was thinking, just checking to see if anybody tried this mod.

those bumper covers are kind of rare, but it should fit..

It would be way easier to just swap the whole front end. It would be just a bolt on deal. The whole front part of the hood is different as the lights were also made different. just swap to a newer hood also, unless you just wanna fabricate something.
