Hey all, quick question: does anyone know approximately how much a 1979 Ford Mustang would weigh? It needs to be towed a 325 mile trip, and we don't want to rent a truck to do it. It would be towed with an '02 Chevy Trailblazer rated at ~6300lbs, but I don't know if that would be enough for the Mustang and trailer. Sorry for being so vague but I just need a rough estimate.
Thanks in advance!

If it's a v8, close to 3000 lbs..

Curb-weight range, pounds: 2,530-2,672 (1979)
It depends on what options.
I use the u-haul site to see if towing combinations work. But of course you may be using a different trailer.

roughly 2500 to 2700 pounds. I had a 1980 fairmont with a v8 ( same chassis) and they are light. You should be able to tow it no problem. Just take it easy
